We are sad today, thinking the 2020 Master National Opening Banquet would be taking place tonight. We understand how all our handlers feel, having trained and tested their retrievers for a year, preparing for this very special National event. We also want to thank the many volunteers who worked throughout the year to ensure we would have a first class event in Minnesota.
Everyone has been very understanding and we know we made the right decision to cancel the event following the Covid pandemic. It was the only choice we had to ensure the safety of all our handlers, judges, volunteers and sponsors but it doesn’t erase our disappointment.
We hope you are looking forward to a 2021 Master National event. The Master National Board of Directors and our Host Club Treasure Valley Hunting Retriever Club are working hard to make the necessary preparations for a Sept. 30 – October 10th event in Valley County, Idaho. The Host Hotel will be Holiday Inn in McCall, ID 83638. Please note, many of the hotels will not be taking reservations until later in the year.
We will also have announcements soon about this event including judges, other hotel accommodations, RV parks and resources in the area.
We have created a 2021 Master National event page on Website, and will update the Master National community through our Blogs, and on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as more news becomes available.
In the meantime, train hard and we look forward to seeing you in Idaho!
