The MNRC Board of Directors are pleased to announce the 2025 Master National event will be held in Giddings, Texas. The test will run from Thursday, October 30, 2025 and conclude by Sunday, November 9, 2025.
A newly formed group called the Central Texas Retriever Association will host the event. Members of the 2025 Host Committee include Kevin & Yolanda Buchman, Dede & Wayne Paterson, Michael & Dorothy Ruehman, Kevin McGinnis and Rex Gibson.
2025 MNRC President Charles Pugh said he is thrilled to be working with the Central Texas Retriever Association. In addition, Pugh said he appreciates the efforts of the Heart of Texas Chamber of Commerce, led by the Chamber President T.J. Finn, in welcoming the MNRC to Texas. The tests will be held on privately owned property in Bastrop and Lee Counties. The largest cities in the area are Bastrop and Giddings, Texas. The closest international airport is Austin Bergstrom International Airport approximately 55 miles away.
The Hampton Inn & Suites in Bastrop will serve as the host hotel. Other accommodations in the Bastrop area include:
