Question about the new Amateur Set Aside 3-dog limit. Let’s say I, an amateur owner/handler, enter my three dogs using the amateur set-aside. After closing of entries my training buddy, also an amateur, has an unexpected health issue and asks me to handle her dog that she has entered in Master because she cannot be there. Can I handle her dog in this Master stake without being subject to sanction under the new rule?

If AKC would limit the number of pro dogs entered at one time would help the amateurs to enter, when a pro can enter 12 to17 dogs with the push of a button and you worry about no more than 3 for amateur something needs to be addressed
