Foundation Announces Handlers of the Year Awards

The Master National Retriever Club Foundation  Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of co-recipients of the 2022 Bill T. Teague Handler of the Year Award

The two recipients are Mr. Jim Windham from Leonard, Texas and Dr. Dennis Greer of Vancouver, Washington.  Both are long time participants at the Master National Hunt Test.

Both of these handlers will be presented a plaque, cash award and a Bill Teague Handler of the Year pin at an upcoming event in their respective areas in the coming weeks.

The Foundation received the largest number of nominations for the Handler of the Year Award since the organization’s inception in 2013.

2016 – Bill Autry of the Bently, LA area
2017 – Bob Neipert of Waterloo Amateur Retriever Club in the Austin area
2018 – Lyle Steinman of Castle Creek Kennels in Stewartsville, MO
2019 – Sallie Sullivan of Tallahassee Hunting Retriever Club of Thomasville, GA
2022 – Dr. Dennis Greer of Vancouver, Washington and Jim Windam, Leonard, Texas

MNRC Foundation Board of Directors, Jimmy Hughes, Gloria Mundell, Jack Morris, and Keith Maready who serves as Ex-Officio, as the current president of MNRC.
