Diagrams: Norwood Ranch Land and Lundy’s Pond Land

Norwood Ranch Land

This test is a Land Triple with Double Blind and Honor. Bird # is left to right and lands at 50 yds. Bird # 2 is a mallard flyer and is thrown left to right and lands approximately 84 yds away. Bird #3 is thrown right to left, from the handler’s right side, and lands 74 yds away. There are several irrigation furrows on the way to all three marks. After retrieving the marks the handler is asked to pick up two blinds in any order. The left blind is under the arc of Bird #1 and is 78 yds away. The right blind is to the left and deep of the flyer station and is 95 yds away. The dog completes the test with an honor of the next working dog.

 

Lundy’s Pond Land

This test is a Land Triple with Double Blind and Honor. Bird #1 is thrown from the handler’s right side, right to left, and lands 70 yds away. Bird #2 is thrown to the left of bird #1, left to right, and lands 94 yds away. Bird #3 is a mallard flyer, thrown left to right and lands 79 yds away. After picking up the marks the handler is requested to pick up the left blind which is 21 yds away. The right blind is next and is located 110 yds and splits the lines to birds 1 and 2. The test concludes with an honor of the next working dog.
