Attention MNRC Clubs: The Deadline to submit an Application for an AKC Advanced Judges Seminar Grant for 2022 is October 1, 2021. Grant amounts will range from $500 to $1000 based upon the fee AKC charges the club.
The MNRC has made updates to the Application Form to better streamline the process and make it easier for clubs to submit a request. We have also added a Seminar Completion Form to improve our reimbursement process. Here’s what your club needs to do if they want to apply for a grant for 2022.
An Application for the Grant must be submitted in writing by mail or email to the MNRC Region Vice President or Director before the Annual MNRC Meeting held at the Annual Event. This year that date is October 1, 2021. (For a List of Region Vice Presidents and Directors, Click Here)
Applications for an Advanced Judges/Handler Seminars must be planned and approved by AKC for the upcoming year January 1 – December 31.
As one grant is awarded per region each year the MNRC Board of Directors will evaluate the submitted request and announce the award by December 30th each year.
New: Within 15 calendar days following your Seminar the club must submit a Seminar Completion Form for reimbursement of funds.
