Tracy and Jimmy Hughes Baby Blog

This is the best MNRC Baby Blog ever!  We are continuing to check the progress of twins born to Tracy and Jimmy Hughes on born on July 18, 2013 at 7:45 a.m. Happy One Year to the twins!
According to Master National Treasurer Jimmy Hughes, the babies came out kicking and crying with the rowdy little sister leading the way, and little brother following one minute later.
I don’t know whether this qualifies as a “Break” but the babies did come into the world a little earlier than planned.
Sidney Marie Hughes weighed just 1 lb. 12 ounces and Brother Nathan James Hughes 2 lbs. 1 ounce.
Everyone is doing great and are at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center (UAB Medical Center).   The twins are in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the Women’s & Infants Center.  This is the largest NICU in the United States.
Jimmy said he feels, “Blessed with such an incredible medical staff and some of the leading Neonatologists in the world.”
Babies Sidney and Nathan are gaining weight nicely and meeting their respiratory challenges head on.
Take a look at these great photos they give you some perspective on just how fragile and wonderful life can be.
On behalf of the Master National Retriever Club Congratulations Tracy & Jimmy. All of our best wishes are coming your way!
We look forward to baby updates along the way.  And in just a short time I am sure the twins will be out throwing bumpers for the retrievers!
