A message from Master National Host Chair

I am very honored to welcome all participants to the 2023 Master National here in Thomasville Georgia. October 26th is fast approaching. The Host clubs, Tallahassee Hunting Retriever Club and Wiregrass Hunting Retriever Club of Georgia are working hard to make this event the best.
The community is very excited to host the Master National. We have elicited help from lots of people and businesses to make this happen. Our local humane society, Thomasville Humane, has been very instrumental in helping with volunteers and they will produce our train and travel guide for handlers. Thomasville Humane is dear to my heart and I have been a volunteer and board member for over 30 years. We have worked hard through the years to become the only no-kill shelter in our area.
I am hoping you will join me in support of this organization by becoming a “Series Savior”. For $300. you can save a dog at Thomasville Humane. Your donation will ensure that a dog receives all vaccines and health care along with sterilization, behavior assessment and rehabilitation in order to get him or her a forever home. For your donation you will receive recognition on our Series Savior banner at a series during the event. The banner will be wishing handler’s good luck, or words of wisdom near the first holding blind of each test. You will also get two “I Saved A Dog” t-shirts. All proceeds will go to Thomasville Humane.
You will also receive a big squeeze from me if I catch you wearing one of these shirts. This community has worked hard all year for this event, and this is a great way for you to leave your mark. See you soon. Good luck and thanks.
