The Winter Board Meeting of the Master National Retriever Club was held Feb. 26 in Dallas. The Board addressed a number of challenging issues facing the MNRC. It was decided that the Master National could not be held this year in Tri-Cities Washington as a result of drought and safety concerns for our dogs.
A new location for the 2022 test is being researched at this time and a decision is expected to be announced by March 14. Please be patient as the future growth of our sport is a complex issue. How to handle the ever increasing number of dogs entered in the event is a challenge to say the least.
The Board is working diligently to come up with an equitable and fair solution to be able to successfully manage the Master National event.
