Patrick 'Pat' David McHale

The Master National Retriever Club Board of Directors would like to express their deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Pat McHale.

Pat was born Dec. 22, 1956 in Memphis. He was a loving husband, father, professional dog trainer and friend to all who knew him.
He graduated from Pharr San Juan Alamo High School in 1974 and received an Associate Degree in Farm & Ranch Management from Uvalde Jr. College/Southwest Texas Jr. College.
Not often does someone find in life what they truly love to do, but Pat did. A Master National dog trainer and handler, he owned Ridgewood Kennels in Stoneham. Pat is known across the state of Texas as one of the best dog trainers as well as an AKC Judge. He was a member of the Bryan-College Station Retrievers Club, Ducks Unlimited, the NRA and numerous other clubs across the state.
A resident of Stoneham for the past 13 years, Pat was well known in the community as a person who always helped out local charities such as the Plantersville-Stoneham Bunch, Poor Boys, Plantersville VFD and the Grimes County Fair Association. Pat had a contagious laugh, endless supply of love and a witty since of humor. He influenced many lives not only in the dog world, but people in everyday life. Pat was a great family man, friend, mentor and role model.
Survivors include his wife Michele; a daughter, Jessica Waldroup and husband J.D.; a son, David McHale, Jr. and significant other, Erin Britt; parents, Bob and Bobbie McHale; grandchildren, Justin McHale and Karley McHale, all of Stoneham; sisters, Pam Lane, Karen Alexander, both of Houston and Kristi Turner of Spring, numerous other relatives and a great number of friends.
