New National Retriever Club wins AKC recognition

MARCOn behalf of the Master National Retriever Club, the Board of Directors would like to Congratulate the independent Master Amateur Retriever Club on receiving recognition and approval from the American Kennel Club as the newest National Retriever Club.
The mission of the Master Amateur Retriever Club (MARC) is to promote and protect the breeding, field training, hunting traditions and best interests of all retriever breeds and those breeds qualified to enter American Kennel Club (AKC) Hunt Tests for Retrievers; and, to promote the interests of amateur owners and trainers who respect the history, traditions and integrity of the sport of purebred hunting retrievers.
MARC will conduct an annual Master Amateur Invitational hunt test that will promote the use of retrievers as hunting companions by simulating as nearly as possible the conditions met in a true hunting situation.
