Yoland Buchman Resume:

I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to the Master National Retriever Club Board of Directors.

My husband and I have shared a deep love for dogs throughout our 34 years of marriage, but it

wasn’t until 2016 that we got our first Labrador, Coal. Our initial plan was to have him trained as a hunting partner for Kevin, but we quickly found ourselves immersed in the world of hunt tests.

Since then, we’ve had seven Labs—two of whom we’ve lost, one is retiring this year, and three are still actively competing in hunt tests. This journey has led to lasting friendships and a deep appreciation for the hunt test community.

My passion for the sport also extends to my role as an AKC judge, where I’ve had the privilege of judging since 2021. I particularly enjoy judging junior tests, where I can help foster the next generation of retrievers.

My career in community outreach has given me invaluable experience in fundraising, event coordination, and partner development. I have successfully built relationships with local businesses, corporations, military and government organizations, and individuals across various sectors. These experiences have equipped me with the skills necessary to contribute to the growth and success of the Master National Retriever Club.

I look forward to the opportunity to leverage my skills in fundraising, partnership development, and event coordination to help support and strengthen the MNRC and the sport of field retriever testing.
