At the end of June, Tim Buck notified the Master National Retriever Club Board of Directors, with sincere regret, that it was necessary for him to resign as Treasurer of the MNRC.
The Board would like to thank Tim for his service to the club over the last nine months. It’s always difficult for us to lose a dedicated and professional member and we are grateful that Tim has agreed to help with a smooth transition for our next volunteer.
In a vote held in accordance with the club’s by-laws, the board has elected Jimmy Hughes as the club’s new Treasurer, effective on July 11. We are fortunate to have such an experienced professional to guide us through the 2012 Master National event. Please give Jimmy your support and thanks for accepting this position.
Many of you already know Jimmy from previous Master Nationals and club events but will be posting more about his background and thoughts on the web site soon.
