Homestead Valentine Trees

Homestead 1

This test is a land triple with a double blind and honor. Bird number one, dead bird is the middle mark and is thrown left to right at 105 yards.  Bird number two is the flyer and left mark, shot at 100 yards going right to left.

Bird three, dead bird is the right mark and thrown left to right at 55 yards.  Primary blind is planted on the back side of the flyer station at 86 yards, The other blind is planted on the back side of station one at 100 yards.

The test finishes with an honor. Pheasants were used for all marks and blinds. The primary designation means that this blind is always run. If this test is a flight’s first land series, both blinds are picked up. If this test is the second land test for a flight, only the primary blind is picked up. Also, if the test is the second land test for a flight there is no honor of the next dog. The test ran around 7 minutes during our set up week.
