Handicap Pond
This test is a Land Triple with a pheasant flyer, double blind and an honor. Bird number 1 is a dead rooster pheasant thrown on the right side of the line and lands 90 yards away. Bird number 2 is a pheasant flyer, thrown in the middle of birds 1 and 2, and lands approximately 90 yds from the line. Bird number 3 is a dead rooster pheasant thrown on the left side and lands 106 yards away. After picking up the three marks the handler can choose the order of the blind pickups. The right-hand blind is under the arc of bird number 1 and is 114 yards from the line. The left blind is 89 yards away and the line is tight to the gun station of bird number 3. The test concludes with an honor of the next working dog. This test averaged 6.8 minutes to complete during setup week.
