Drivers Beware

On behalf of the Master National Board of Directors and the local host committee your safety, and that of our canine competitors, is paramount.  To this end, there are traffic situations to make you aware of.

First, speed limits in Texas on the rural roads are higher than one would expect; some as high as 75mph.  Texas drivers will push the limits of the speed limit.  Please exercise caution when entering and exiting roadways.  Of  particular note is if you are running on the Fuller’s Beefmaster Bluff Creek properties.  The properties are accessed using County Road 107 in Manheim.  Entrance and exit requires that you turn onto/off of Texas Highway 21.

When leaving this location please be aware that the highway traffic will be moving at a high rate of speed and the intersection has blind corners coming from both directions with no middle turn lane.

Please take extra caution determining the space you need to join this road safely.  There will be a sign at the intersection reminding you of this but the best defense is defensive driving.

Please be cautious on behalf of our participants and our canine partners. Enjoy your time here and be safe.
