Roegiers Land
This test is a land triple, with a flyer, double land blind, and honor. Bird #1 is the middle bird and is thrown right to left landing 92 yds from the line. Bird #2 is the flyer on the left side and lands approximately 150 yds away. Bird #3 is on the right side and lands 87 yds from the line. After picking up the first marked retrieve the handler must then pick up the left-hand blind that is at the base of a tree in a stand of large trees. This blind is 109 yds away. The handler then picks up the remaining marks. After these marks are picked up the handler runs the right hand blind that is under the arc of Bird #3 and is 124 yds from the line. The test concludes with an honor to the left side of the next working dog. This test averaged 7.2 minutes to complete during setup.

Roegiers Land Water

This test is a Land-Water Triple with a Flyer, Diversion Bird, Water Blind. The test begins with a walkup bird appearing from a gun station on the right side at 45 yds and lands approximately 49 yds away. Bird #2 is on the left side across the pond and lands in some tall grass at 93 yds. Bird #3 is the flyer and is thrown right to left and lands approximately 108 yds across the water. The true line to this flyer usually involves going through 2 pieces of water. Whenever the picks up the bird from Station #2, a diversion bid, marked with a ribbon, is thrown from a hay bale in front of the working line and lands in close proximity to the return line of the bird from Station #2. After the marks and diversion bird are picked up the test concludes with a water blind that is planted to the right of Station #2 at 104 yds. The setup dogs averaged 10 minutes to complete this test.

Roegiers Water

This test is a Water Triple with a Water Blind. When the dog is called to the line the handler brings the dog in front of some hay bales stacked at the line. After the handler sits their dog, the handler moves behind the hay bales creating a “remote sit” scenario. Bird #1 is across the water on the left side and lands 118 yds away. Bird #2 is on the right-side landing 107 yds away. Bird #3 is the middle bird and lands 84 yds from the line. After the birds are down and the judges release the handler, the handler is free to send their dog from the remote sit or move around the hay bales and send their dog from the usual at heel position. After the marks are picked up the dog completes the test with a single water blind at 128 yds. The setup dog took 9.5 minutes to complete this test.
