Scott Corley – VP
Region IV Representative
2132 Black Cat Lane, Oak Harbor, WA 98277
My name is Scott Corley and I am proud to serve the Master National Retriever Club on behalf of Region IV and I thank the member clubs for trusting me with this responsibility. Since participating in, working, and judging hunt tests are some of the best ways I know of to spend my time, working for the MNRC is an honor for me.
I was born and raised in South Carolina, but have lived in Washington State since the U.S. Navy brought me here in 2009. The people and wildlife of the Pacific Northwest are world class and I feel very fortunate to live here. Deer hunting, squirrel hunting, the occasional coon hunt, and fishing local ponds were my outdoor passions growing up.
These days, pheasant hunting with friends and hiking the Columbia River Basin in search of duck, pheasant, and the occasional quail is every bit as fun. Dogs have always been an important part of my life, but my appreciation of their abilities has taken off since we started participating in canine performance sports.
Currently, we have two labs, Enzo and Bullet. Enzo qualified at the 2024 Amateur National in Carnation, WA and the 2024 Master National in Kevil, KY. As with most rewarding pursuits, it’s the personal relationships that bring out our best efforts. I appreciate the time and effort it takes to keep our clubs and community thriving so we can develop the very best attributes of our retrievers. I look forward to meeting and working with as many of you as possible.
