Hi, I’m Michele Fletcher and I currently live in Pikeville, TN with my husband and two golden retrievers. We have two sons and two beautiful granddaughters.
I stumbled into the world of dog performance events in 1997 with a newly acquired Brittany puppy. I enjoyed competing in obedience and agility. It wasn’t until I added my first red-headed golden retriever to our family in 2003 that some friends took me on another journey into the world of hunt tests.
I continued to compete in all 3 venues and became an AKC Agility Judge in 2009. I have held the position of secretary and treasurer in various dog clubs when I lived in Florida and have been the hunt test secretary for East Tennessee Retriever Club since 2018. In addition to my agility and obedience successes, I have also earned Senior titles on all 4 of my Goldens. I’m proud that I have done all of their training… with help, of course, from my friends! While cherishing the memories and experiences that brought me here, I’m excited to embrace the journey ahead.
