Board Appoints New MNRC Treasurer

Congratulations to Paul W. Brady of Lakeway, Texas on his appointment to the Board of Directors as our new Master National Treasurer. His background and skills positions him well to take over the duties of Master National Treasurer.

Current Hunt Test Treasurer Jimmy Hughes has made a decision for his future and his family step away from the MNRC BOD. Jimmy has been dedicated to the MNRC for years and will be missed.  The Board thanks Jimmy for all he has given back to this sport and wishes him the best of luck in the future.

For more information about Paul please see his resume listed below:

Hello, my name is Paul Brady. I am a proud Native Texan, born & raised. I have been married to my beautiful wife Connie for over 45 years. We have three grown children, and 6 grand kids with another one on the way.

My business life has always revolved around food. I started washing dishes when I was 14, and then grew into top leadership roles for over 30 years with several large chain restaurant companies growing them from coast to coast. I was “on the road a lot”! In 2002, I took a leap and opened my own restaurant in the Texas Hill Country on Lake Marble Falls. River City Grille has become a Hill Country favorite. My family joined me in 2010, and today my son-in-law runs our business which has allowed me to “mostly” retire.

I have always had dogs in my life. Being an avid hunter, a good retriever became very special relationship for me. I attended a hunt test in East Texas in 1990, and came home and knew immediately that I had to have “one of those dogs”. My kids say that I replaced them with dogs and that’s fairly accurate.

Thanks to this sport I have many close friends all over the US, and I enjoying seeing and working with them at weekend tests and at The Master National. The people and their dogs are what it’s all about for me. I look forward to serving this organization and giving back to the sport that has been such a blessing for me.
