The Master National Retriever Club Board of Directors proudly announces the selection of the site of the 2015 Master National.
The 2015 event will be held at the H. Cooper Black Jr. Memorial Field Trial and Recreation Area in South Carolina. The Board has accepted the proposal by the Cooper River Retriever Club of South Carolina and the Neuse and Lumber Retriever Clubs to host the event October 15-25, 2015.
For those of you who are not familiar with the H. Cooper Black Jr. Memorial Field Trial and Recreation Area, it is a state park located near the town of Cheraw, in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. The park was created on land originally part of Sand Hills State Forest in memory of Dr. H. Cooper Black, Jr of Columbia after his death in 1993.
“I am delighted that Cooper River Retriever Club and Neuse Retriever Club will play host to our 2015 Master National and I’m thrilled to have such magnificent grounds for our retrievers to showcase their talents,” said 2015 MNRC incoming President Sam Ferguson. “I am certain our handlers and their retrievers will enjoy the experience at Cooper Black. The MNRC is looking forward to working with the folks at Cooper River and Neuse Retriever Clubs.”
