MNRC Foundation Award Nominations

As handlers/owners enter their dogs for the 2017 Master National Retriever Hunting Test at The BigWoods on the Trinity in Tennessee Colony, Texas, please remember the MNRC Foundation offers three awards for handlers; each award consists of a personal plaque, the recipient’s name on a perpetual plaque and a check for $1,000.
The awards areYouth Handler of the Year” for 8-12 year oldsYouth Handler of the Year” for 13-17 year olds and the Bill T. Teague Handler of the Year Award” for the adult.
Nominations for these awards must be submitted within 30 days of the completion of the event and criteria for each award are found on the MNRC website. Regretfully, there have been no nominations for either of the Youth Handler of the award since the inception of awards in 2015. The first recipient of “Bill T. Teague Handler of the Year” award in 2015  was Ken Vidrine, Opelousas, Louisiana and last year’s recipient was Bill Autrey, Bentley, Louisiana.
